We use Microsoft 365. Doesn't it already filter spam?
It filters commodity spam reasonably well. It is far weaker against targeted phishing, impersonation and business email compromise, which is where the losses happen.
Will legitimate emails get blocked?
Policies are tuned during onboarding and users receive a quarantine digest, so anything held can be released in one click.
What is DMARC and do we need it?
DMARC tells receiving mail servers what to do with email that claims to be from your domain but fails authentication. Without it, anyone can send email as you. It also improves deliverability of your real mail.
Can you help after we've already been hit?
Yes. We can secure compromised accounts, review forwarding rules and access, and put protections in place to prevent a repeat.
